SQL Turbo Present in 2 SQL Saturday – 368 Costa Rica and 364 Boston

Hello Friends

Next Saturday April 18th, I will have the honor of presenting in the Costa Rica´s SQL Saturday 368 a topic about “Delayed durability, from an application perspective”. My turn is during the afternoon. In this session we will be talking about benefits and risks about using the new delayed durable transactions introduced in SQL Server 2014. We will have great demos so we can analyze the behavior of such transactions and how to properly use them.

Simultaneously, in Boston city, my peer Warner Chaves is going to present “The restore cookbook”, a very cool session where he will discuss in depth on how to properly recover a database under diverse scenarios such as disk failure or a missing data file.
