Today we are opening the doors to what we hope will become a top technical resource to DBAs worldwide. Our mission is to bring 100% PRACTICAL advice based on our own real life IN THE FIELD experience with all kinds of performance issues. Between the two of us we have literally worked with hundreds of clients on all types of verticals and want to share our experience with the community. We also hope to network and learn from our visitors too!

And who are we?

Myself, Warner Chaves, am a SQL Server MCM and have been a SQL Server DBA for over 9 years. Previously a L3 DBA at HP Costa Rica, I now work as a Principal Consultant for Pythian, a global Data Services company.

The other half of SQLTurbo is Alejandro Cordero. Alejandro was also an experienced DBA at HP and is now a Database Consultant at Pythian. He has over 7 years of experience with enterprise clients and specializes on tuning, ETL and end to end development.

Together we hope to bring top material to the SQL community and help everybody achieve the maximum performance out of their systems, on premise and in the cloud.
